Wine Down & Paint
I was born and raised in Kannapolis, NC. I have always been interested in art and at A.L. Brown High School began working on my art portfolio to receive an art scholarship to West Virginia University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from WVU, where I maintained an art scholarship until graduation in December of 2003. I began working in Kannapolis City schools as a teacher assistant until the art teacher position opened at Woodrow Wilson Elementary in 2008. I then attended UNC Charlotte to get my credentials to teach art. I love to PAINT and I love to TEACH, so I wanted to explore a little more in how I can bring the two together, outside of the school system!
I am very excited to work with adults and children in painting a masterpiece! Art is VERY important! Today, more than ever, the arts are needed by people as a forum for expression, communication, exploration, imagination. When people paint, it is like an escape from life! I look forward to have a fun, relaxing painting party with you!
